This is true..! Microsoft bids for 60% shares of yahoo Inc in $44.6 billion. Whether yahoo Inc accepts this bid or not but one thing is for sure, this will emerge a new challenge for Google which is at the moment true search engine giant.

Why Microsoft wants to buy yahoo? Only known to them but I will have to say its an attempt to give tuff time to Google and surely we will have some healthy competition of two giants. Google at present making most of its income through adwords and adsense combination and for making this advertising network more successful, Google team drives new rules for its search engine rankings and also page rank allocation which helps to boost its advertising program now what will happen when new search engine comes into field which surely will be a combination of two search engine visitors, Yahoo and MSN, reshaping into one big one to wipe out Google strength in this field.

Being a webmaster, what I ma thinking about new search engine is to start an exclusive advertising program which can give tuff time to adsense. It should not be convetional rich media or contextual advertising but should be something customizable like shopzilla programs which should help both advertisers and publishers by meeting their basic requirements. However what will be new policies and who will win is still early to predict but one thing I am very much sure is that we all will have some healthy competition on internet.
